Each place links to its coordinate source. Importing a record is not an on-site inspection. A coordinate may identify the centre of an area, not its entrance.
The published catalogue covers Tuscany: water, viewpoints, museums, waterfalls, villages, caves, beaches, campsites, camper areas, waste disposal and camper businesses. Parole d’Oro and eight nearby parking areas were added from OpenStreetMap, with tourism context from Turismo Lucca.
Day parking and overnight facilities are separate categories. A parking listing does not grant permission to sleep there. Nearby parking is ranked by straight-line distance within the catalogue, not by a verified driving or walking route. Check vehicle size limits, access and opening with the operator.
Reviews are contributed by app users. Ratings from other platforms are not imported. Road obstacles are not comprehensively mapped. Data is a snapshot, not a live service.
The Europe map view does not imply Europe-wide data coverage. Our import process works region by region: normalise OpenStreetMap records, preserve source IDs and dates, exclude private access, check duplicates and review before publication. Geofabrik regional extracts provide a basis for larger imports. Official tourism sources and operators support editorial recommendations and practical access notes.
User suggestions remain pending until reviewed. We do not invent reviews, parking suitability or access permissions. There is no scheduled background import at present.
The Florence metropolitan camper-area dataset has not been imported: its archive was unavailable during verification and needs checking for age and duplicates before use.
